Amid the peak of Covid-19, I faced a major setback. Growing up, I saw my mother struggle with asthma due to the city's poor air quality. During the delta wave, she got Covid, alarming doctors who knew her battle against the virus and asthma would be tough.
Since we had the resources, we managed to get all the necessary equipment to help my mother fight the disease and recover.
With this incident a deep realization hit me: Delhi's pollution affects many, who lack resources for air purifiers. Wanting an affordable solution, I researched, brainstormed, consulted, and designed a low-cost air purifier. Money from internships funded the first batch.
